Lagos Emission Inventory Development and Modeling

EnvironQuest developed an air pollution emission inventory for Lagos metropolis. This includes developing an inventory of mass and geographic distribution of air pollutant emissions, conduct air pollutant dispersion modelling, identify, and assess the potential effectiveness and costs of a set of potential emission control measures to be added to the portfolio of emission control options considered in the GAINS-PMEH model.

EnvironQuest conducted an air quality monitoring campaign in Lagos to generate data on ambient concentrations of air pollutants, establish a baseline for air quality in the Lagos metropolis as well as conduct source apportionmentanalysis/receptor modelling and capacity building for Air Quality monitoring in Lagos EPA.
